Guys, I’m due in 7 weeks and I still feel like I need to soak up every single ounce of baby knowledge, techniques and advice out there. So when I heard that The Baby Show is coming back to Toronto before my due date I was excited.
As a first time mom, it is so easy to get overwhelmed by the thousands of baby gadgets out there. Not to mention, the sea of opinions from veteran moms on what products are great and which are a waste of money. If you’re like me, you spent hours reading reviews and speaking to moms only to get conflicting opinions – what one mom loved another thought was useless.

During the summer, comfort food isn’t typically something I reach for. Being pregnant, however, all of a sudden I’m craving everything carb-loaded, cheese-filled and delicious. Last weekend I got a huge craving for Mac & Cheese, but not the store bought kind, the home made kind.
As I sit here writing this, it is a few days until I turn the big “3-0.” I wanted to take some time to reflect on the transformational decade that was my twenties. If I had to characterize my twenties, it was a decade filled with discovery, taking chances and just saying yes.
We’ve all been there. You have an event to attend and you want to look fabulous. You go to your favourite makeup store and try to get an appointment to get glammed up only to be met with “we’re all full that day.” Or, you do manage to score a coveted spot only to then sit there with a mall full of people walking around and the smell of food court french fries making your mouth water.
