Hey guys, Sarah here! I’ve been away for quite a while, because my 10 year old Macbook finally decided to kick the bucket. It’s been quite a while, and I have been itching to tell you all about my new friends at Batty’s Bath!
I heard about Batty’s through a high school friend. I have been looking for organic, local made soaps for quite a while, because I’ve been spending too long and too much money, looking through Shoppers Drug Mart, trying to choose face soaps, body washes and hair soaps. Batty’s Bath has fast shipping, an easy to navigate website and an array of items from soaps to scrubs to makeup. Plus, it’s a company from right here in Ontario!
Lately my face has been that of a 16-year-old going through puberty. I’ve been suffering from breakouts, blackheads, and stubborn zits all over the place. After perusing the website, I decided the best thing for my face Batty’s grapefruit and patchouli facial soap bar. The scrubbing side made my face feel revitalized, healthy and bright and got rid of those annoying blackheads, and the soapy side lathered up in a few seconds and made my face smell delicious and clean, while getting rid of all the dead skin.
The ladies at Batty’s have an entire blog post dedicated to saving acne prone skin, using this little wonder bar and I have to say this is now one of my must have products for my face.
I also purchased the Black Charcoal soap bar, which had me skeptical at first, but I have been on the hunt for something natural and helpful for my body. Much like the face bar, the Black Charcoal bar is designed for both body and face, and helps with both acne prone skin and dirt in pores. I was slightly caught off guard when my bath water turned completely black, but my skin came out feeling silky and smooth.
Batty’s Bath is located in London Ontario, where each product is hand crafted on site, which is exciting for me, because I spent a lot of time in London with my big girl job, and I like to know where my soaps and cosmetics are coming from!
